I’m mere weeks into the new year and already thinking…
New beginnings are scary. The trade of each new year is both thrilling and ominous - a little like the beginning of every painting. There is always a juncture, somewhere when I'm driven to define the load, evaluate the line, the composition, the color - measuring where the work will take me. Reviewing the plan ensures that I stay on track and continue to make progress toward the desired outcome. While it can be challenging and the void asks only to let go of expectations, the art allows agreement to find new paths towards success. It is a reminder that sometimes the blank canvas can lead to unexpected opportunities.
I suppose, there is wisdom in not knowing the outcome and I also believe there is magic in the plan. Every word ... every idea that we think and or dream .. shapes our lives.
